Original report (as submitted)

As I was joining the dual carriageway at about 70 mph, I could see a silver Peugeot half way along the slip road behind me. The grey MG came out from behind the Peugeot overtaking on the single lane slip road over the ghost island and straight out to the overtaking lane of the dual carriageway - possibly not through choice given the momentum he d picked up through the dust and debris of the ghost island that separates the slip road and the dual carriageway. Nice... --- Context --- Type: Cut Me Up Location: Leicestershire Vehicle: MG MG3 Registration: VD24 KSO Date reported: 2025-06-26 --- Safety takeaway --- Keep a buffer around lane merges and avoid reacting aggressively.
