Original report (as submitted)

Turning out of Fen Ditton on Newmarket Road I was in the left lane which is to go left and right, which turns into dual carriage way. Well I was round and starting to straighten up when a blue car driven by a grey hair idiot indicates from the other lane to come into mine, however he was not in front of me, he was only just by my drivers door, he was completly obvlious to my car (a red Xantia 1.8) and proceed s to run my completly off the road and on to the pathway. Luckily no one was there, however my car took a hell of a pounding from the kerb. The driver didn t even flinch when I sounded the horn to alert them. I regained the road and was following him, he sheepishly looked in the rear view mirror.
