I was driving at about 60mph on A610 westwards when this idiot appeared in my rear view mirror as if glued to my bumper, he must have joined from the Ikea junction but did not have the sense to match his speed and following distance. He then overtook me, giving the usual hand gestures (as if I was at fault) thereby declaring himself as the sort of road user we could well do without.

Whilst heading from Newark westbound towards Leicester along the A46 there was a lot of slow moving traffic which didn t have much space between cars. Traffic the other way was very little. Taking advantage of this a driver in a Seat overtook the almost stationary queue and when a vehicle was coming the other way he barged into the queue to get out of the way. It wasn t his right of way over the vehicle who was in the queue but if this driver hadn t let the queue barger in he would have been held responsible for the crash if one occurred for not letting the queue barger in even though it was his right of way. Why do they think others should be denied their freedom for the preferences of these bigoted drivers?

15:30 on the A52 heading out of Nottingham towards Melton. Fat middleaged bloke in a Megane tried to undertake me by changing lanes halfway round a roundabout, but wasn t fast enough. Got a bit annoyed by this even though not my fault and I did nothing to upset him. He was then behind me in a 50mph zone and very annoyed as I was sticking to speed limit and he couldn t get past. On the following dual carriageway I stayed doing 55mph in left lane, he overtook me and then did emergency stop in front of me. Repeated this several times. I got past him - he then forced me off the road further along the A52 by cutting me up at 60mph about 1" away from the front of my car even though dual carriageway was nearly empty. If I hadn t taken evasive action it would have been a big smash. repeated stupid behaviour and offensive hand signals all way to Newark. His female passanger looked very embarrassed and he has now been reported to the police. Very silly fat middle aged man showing off to female, obviouslu upset cos his little renault couldn t get past my car when he tried his original illegal undertaking move halfway around a roundabout. --- Context --- Type: Bad Driving Location: Nottinghamshire Vehicle: Renault Megane Registration: YY15 ENT Date reported: 2025-08-23 --- Safety takeaway --- Stay defensive, leave space, and avoid escalating risky behaviour.

Whilst waiting for traffic lights on the exit ramp off M1 J25 southbound to join A52, where the lanes eventually diverge from 2 to 3, some a*sehole comes flying past me up the hard shoulder at about 50-60mph for about 200m to jump the queue. The irony of this is that I ended up over taking the t**t on the A52 - so what was the point in that extremely dangerous manoeuvre?! This is the kind of to55er that we could do without on the roads. Along with folk that think there is only one lane on the motorway, and people that drive at 27 mph in a national speed limit thinking that they are safer than everyone else, and lorry drivers having a friendly hour long duel up the motorway kindly slowing things down for everyone elses safety! blimey better stop there i m one angry git this morning!! not now though i ve vented off! happy motoring everyone! --- Context --- Type: Bad Driving Location: Nottinghamshire Vehicle: Kia Sportage Registration: RK07 OQL Date reported: 2025-08-23 --- Safety takeaway --- Stay defensive, leave space, and avoid escalating risky behaviour.
