Original report (as submitted)
The only problem here was that I could have put tail gating, cutting in to queue and speeding. I have never had anyone drive as close to my rear as this at speed. This was bullying while driving at 70 to 90ish. I can only guess the top speeds as this was for the short periods when this guy was catching up the next victim to force to pull in to the slower traffic in lane 1. The move he then made to cut across lane 1 to go up the off ramp to head toward the A166 or A1079 was unbelievable at that speed. This guy will kill someone sooner or later. --- Context --- Type: Tail Gating Location: North Yorkshire Vehicle: Citroen C4 Registration: VS16 GRX Date reported: 2025-08-15 --- Safety takeaway --- Leave extra following distance and avoid brake-check escalation.
