Original report (as submitted)

This incident made my blood boil! This idiot drove all the way from Ripley to Matlock Bath tailgating/hounding a learner driver, who was going at a reasonable speed, staying about 1/2 second behind with no let up. I kept flashing my lights at her to no avail (I was following with about 5 seconds gap just to keep well clear). She eventually managed to pass but then almost immediately found herself behind a tractor, again tailgating. I turned off after this. Average BMW driver attitude, arrogant, selfish but above all dangerous. --- Context --- Type: Tail Gating Location: Dunbartonshire Vehicle: BMW 316 Registration: OL23 TZD Date reported: 2025-07-03 --- Safety takeaway --- Leave extra following distance and avoid brake-check escalation.

This incident is best read alongside nearby reports to understand whether the behaviour is occasional or recurring. Comparing reports by location and incident type helps surface trends that are more actionable than any single account on its own.
