Not Paying Attention
Original report (as submitted)
This is a left hand drive, silver, Toyota LandCruiser. Couldn t get much on the plate, but its Swiss registered. He s travelling at 60mph, behind an articulated truck, on the A26 between Lewes and Uckfield. To overtake, at 60mph, in a LandCruiser (slow, slow, slow), with left hand drive, on a 2-way road, is just plain stupid. Leaning across to his passenger seat (LHD remember), to try and see oncoming traffic, he nearly hit at least 4 cars as he veered across, trying to view the other side of the road. I feel sorry for all the poor oncoming souls, who weren t expecting to see a LandCruiser in the middle of their lane. He did eventually pass, as slow as slow could be. Does anyone know why people buy a 4x4 when they intend to get somewhere quickly, on the road? And please, if you see this muppet, stay well away. The guy has no idea how to drive. PS - I am NOT a driving God, and would never claim to be. But this bloke makes me look like the best driver in the world.
