Original report (as submitted)

Third one in 2 days - this is very therapeutic. Driving through the New Forest this morning, just past Lyndhurst on the Christchurch road in a 40 mph limit near Holmsley. Chap in a red Peugeot estate was clearly in a bit of a rush. Either that or he found my boot very attractive. He wasn t prepared to wait for the 60 limit ahead, so overtook and then treated me to the usual arm waving and middle finger display. Fortunately there was a slow line of traffic ahead which he got stuck behind. Tosser! --- Context --- Type: Dangerous Overtake Location: Unknown Vehicle: Peugeot Registration: HE10 HXD Date reported: 2025-06-15 --- Safety takeaway --- Stay defensive, leave space, and avoid escalating risky behaviour.

This incident is best read alongside nearby reports to understand whether the behaviour is occasional or recurring. Comparing reports by location and incident type helps surface trends that are more actionable than any single account on its own.
