Incident Report

Description

Along this stretch of main road this driver drove at 35mph in a 60mph zone. As the weather was clear, dry and there were no sharp bends, he was something of a Sunday driver causing a tailback. If he had been driving at a reasonable speed and slowed down at bends then it would have been okay. This low speed wasn t maintained because of safety but was down to being in front and not showing consideration for other road users, unless he didn t notice the tailback he was causing which would mean he was unfit to drive. Should impatience have occurred it could have resulted in an accident with the winding of the road. I hereby would like to praise all drivers stuck in the tailback for not trying to overtake along this stretch but waiting until it was safe to do so.
