Bad Driving
Date:
12 March 2009
Time:

Make & Model:
bmw Unknown
Colour:

County:
Durham
What happened:
So another BMW idiot. This time it was rush hour on Gilesgate roundabout in Durham. I was driving towards the city and took the roundabout and joined the queue on the next road. Now this road starts with two lanes but very quickly filters into one land. BMW twat decided he doesn't need to queue so flies past everybody waiting in that lane, tried to get in front of me but I refused, so he rammed his way in front of the car in front of me (or the stupid cow in front let him in, rather than giving him his just desserts). Hacks me off why some people think they have the god-given right to skip the queue!

What happened:
Urgh BMW moron gets on my tail when I'm overtaking lorries at 85 mph and flashes incessantly, to get me to pull over. Tailgating the entire time and keeps flashing lights. I refuse to pull over because I am overtaking at a decent speed-why the hell should I pull over? Kindly gave him the finger and flashed my lights back at him to show him how blinding it is once he'd passed me. I hate BMWs. What the hell is wrong with these people?

Roundabout Madness
Date:
05 February 2005
Time:
09:42
Make & Model:
nissan X-Trail
Colour:
Black
Reg:
County:
Durham
What happened:
Driving along dual carriage way from Pity Me roundabout to new roundabout near Plawsworth and the Red Lion. Nissan X-Trail waiting to pull out from Nettlesworth direction only goes and decides to pull out as I am past the turning off to Nettlesworth. So basically I am almost in his car when he pulls out. Slamming of brakes (glad the person behind had good brakes too) and good use of car horn. It was close. We both head off towards Chester-le-Street and HE gives ME the finger. Then he speeds off to upset other people.
I never cease to be disappointed by people who see their bad driving as my fault.

An exact carbon copy of the previous incident that happened to me in April, at the junction of Marjery Lane and Potter s Bank. Pulled straight out from left in front of cars turning right, forcing me to brake heavily.

I hope insurance companies read this website as this guy is a complete moron.

Very thick fog + no lights whatsoever! = idiot.

To his/her credit, about five seconds after the first photo, he/she must have plugged their brain in cause all of a sudden the lights went on. The road is a town bypass and he/she must have been on it for a good while, it wasn t as though he/she just pulled out of a driveway or anything. Couldn t tell if it was only side lights though, probably was.

And hey, check out that gap! Aren t I a good boy?

What happened:
This granddad came up rather quickly behind me in this 30 zone but kept a respectable distance back. For about 2 miles he does this, then with only 100 yards to a 60 zone he decides that he doesn t want to drive behind me any more and overtakes. He is in no hurry though, and saunters past me at only a couple of miles-per-hour more than I am doing. A couple of seconds later we are In the 60 zone but he doesn t accelerate, instead he stays at about 40 mph!!! A little bit later we both end up following a learner doing 30! The word plonker springs to mind.
