I was driving along the Shore Road past Mervile Garden Village, approaching the traffic lights at the junction of the Longwood Road. I indicated right and moved into the filter lane to turn right. The lights were changing to red and all of a sudden a twat in a Ford Fiesta approaches from the left and decides to cut in front of me. There was barely two car lengths in front of me so I had to slam on the brakes and give the stupid Fiesta-driving bastard a good blast on the horn.

Not so much White Van Man as Red Van Man. But careless nevertheless. I was waiting to cross the road at the junction of the Oldpark and Ballysillan Roads when along came a red Transit van with two occupants. The driver of this van was not in proper control of the vehicle. As he stopped at the red light, he pulled out a sandwich (white bread - filling unidentifiable) and began to consume the said sandwich. The lights changed to green and he still had the sandwich in his right hand when he drove off.

I was driving on the Antrim Road towrds Belfast and after I went by the junction of the Whitewell Road, what should approach behind me but another one of those bastard bloody TAILGATERS! This time it was a particularly dangerous one. I continued driving at 30mph because that area sometimes has concealed speed traps, a fact that the ignorant shit behind didn't seem to care about as he was doing his utmost to drive too close. I reached the hazardous bends near Belfast zoo and by that time I had enough. I gave him a good blast on the horn to try and warn him off. No chance, he carried on tailgating me until after the junction of Gray's Lane. I pulled into the inside lane and let the tailgating twat pass me and to enable me to get a good description of the vehicle that the bugger can't drive very well.

I was driving along the Antrim Road and reached the traffic lights at the junction with Donegall Park Avenue, after which the road narrows. In my rear view mirrow a saw a stupid driver speeding up the bus lane (inside the restriction times). Before the end of the bus lane and near the junction of Gray's Lane, the idiot decides to undertake and without as much as an indication, she cuts in front of me.

I was driving on the Church Road towards the O'Neill Road and before I reached the junction with the Valley Leisure Centre, I saw three teenagers walking on the pavement, one of whom was right on top of the kerb. I thought that demanded caution as the teenager may step onto the road. After I went past the traffic lights at the junction with the leisure centre, I was keeping to the speed limit, as I try to do. Unfortunately, this was not good enough for an impatient twat in a Mercedes Benz people carrier who persistently tailgated me up until I reached the roundabout at the O'Neill Road.I've had the advantage of driver training and as such, I'm aware of a course of action if the are NO posted speed limit signs or repeaters on a road. 1. Follow the last speed limit shown 2. In a built up area, where there are no speed limit repeaters or signs and if there are street lamps at least one hundred yards apart, then that's an indication that the speed limit is 30mph. Unfortunately, with a lot of drivers on the Church Road - No speed limit signs = whatever the bloody hell you like. I really am absolutely bloody fed up with tailgaters on that particular road. I strive to drive safely within posted speed limts and with consideration for others. But unfortunately, few other drivers reciprocate.
Note to PSNI Traffic Branch - Put a few unmarked cars and a few traps on the Church Road and you'll clean up.

What is it about taxi drivers that they think they're a law unto themselves? I was walking in Belfast city centre and was crossing over the junction of Royal Avenue and Donegall Street when this mad arse of taxi driver narrowly misses knocking me down. All other traffic in Donegall Street had stopped at the red light, as you're supposed to do according to the Highway Code. But this pathetic excuse of a driver cares more about picking up fares than a simple rule in relation to road safety. Maybe he was picking up his parents to take them to their wedding.
